Due to continued growth, a leading manufacturer of plastic parts to major OEMs is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their team. The role will be responsible for changing over a range of injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment to produce, in optimum time components of the set quality required by the customer. This includes safe loading of mould tools, and all associated ancillary equipment, as well as working to all relevant health and safety standards.
As an Injection Moulding Setter, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tools and conducting tool changes
- Starting up and closing-down injection moulding machines
- Setting machinery
- Carrying out quality checks
- Resolving process issues/faults
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will have:
- Technical experience working with multiple plastic injection moulding machines as a Setter or Technician
- Hands-on experience of resolving moulding issues and general aptitude for problem solving
- Knowledge of various materials
