The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong capabilities in mainly CNC Turning and 5-axis CNC Milling. This is a hands-on role within a small batch, high-precision environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working on bespoke components and tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Tool Room Duties:
- Programming and machining using CNC lathes.
- General machining including conventional lathe work, slitting, and surface grinding.
- Working to tolerances of 0.01mm.
- 5-Axis Milling Duties:
- Setting and operating 5-axis milling machines.
- Off-line CAD/CAM programming.
- Producing bespoke items to customer specifications.
- Working to tolerances of 0.02mm.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in CNC Turning and programming.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using a variety of inspection equipment.
- Comfortable working with small batch sizes and precision components.
Working Hours & Benefits
- 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
