This contract role will support technical development, product performance, compliance and innovation across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with senior leadership, Production and Operations, the role requires a highly organised and commercially aware technical professional capable of operating at pace, simplifying complex problems and driving projects through to completion.
Technical Manager responsibilities include:
- Leading technical projects across temperature-controlled packaging and specialist material product ranges.
- Supporting product development, testing, trials and certification activities.
- Solving technical product performance and material application challenges.
- Working closely with production to resolve manufacturing and process issues.
- Managing technical compliance including UKCA, BBA and wider certification requirements.
- Driving innovation, product improvements and new product introduction projects.
Technical Manager desirable skills and experience:
- Degree qualified within Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or similar scientific discipline.
- Experience within technical, product development or R&D focused manufacturing environments.
