Due to a continued period of growth, an electrical bias maintenance engineer is required for a huge manufacturing business based in Birmingham.

Responsibilities for the role include:

  • To provide electrical maintenance to a range of automated and semi-automated machinery, production lines, and equipment within the plant
  • Reactive breakdown maintenance, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum
  • Electrical repairs to motors, control panels, wiring, drives, inverters, contactors, switches
  • PLC Fault finding and interrogation
  • Ensure adequate spares to support the plans
  • Carry out full planned maintenance following a schedule
  • Full investigations on breakdowns to determine a root cause
  • Provide continuous improvement to maintenance procedures, machine improvements
  • Supporting the maintenance manager with facilitating the in-house CMMS
