We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Machine Operators to join a busy manufacturing facility in Garretts Green. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or production experience who are confident operating machinery and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery to ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and safely.

Hours: 6am-2:30pm Monday to Thursday / 6am-11am Friday during training, after this you will be on permanent afternoons 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Temporary until the end of September with the opportunity of going permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery and production equipment
  • Loading raw materials and components onto machines
  • Performing routine quality inspections of finished products
  • Identifying and reporting machine faults or quality issues
  • Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required
  • Recording production data and completing relevant documentation
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working to production schedules and achieving daily targets
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, Press Operator, or within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to understand and follow work instructions and production specifications
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
