A well-established UK manufacturer with a strong reputation for delivering innovative products is looking for an experienced Assembly Supervisor to oversee the daily operations across Assembly, Despatch and Goods Inwards.

Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Supervisor:

  • Oversee daily production, assembly, goods inwards and despatch activities.
  • Ensure production and despatch targets are consistently achieved.
  • Lead, coach and support departmental staff.
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct stock checks and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure company procedures, quality standards and 6S principles are followed.
  • Support production planning and ensure labour and materials meet demand.
  • Liaise with Manufacturing, Procurement and suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Investigate production, quality and delivery issues and implement improvements.
  • Ensure products are completed and dispatched on time and to the required standard.
  • Maintain accurate production and dispatch documentation.
  • Promote a safe, organised and productive working environment.
  • Conduct regular production meetings and communicate priorities, progress and issues to management.

The ideal Assembly Supervisor candidate will have previous experience supervising a team within a manufacturing, production, assembly or warehouse environment. You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, able to manage priorities and drive a team towards achieving daily KPIs.
