A Steel Operative / Bander / Counterbalance Forklift Driver is required for an internationally trading steel processing company based in the Willenhall / Wednesfield area on a temporary basis, with a view to it being extended.
For this role you will need Counterbalance Forklift experience and to have worked within a steel processing environment. If you have experience within the steel industry this FLT driver position could be ideal for you. You will be responsible for the banding up of steel and operating counterbalance forklift trucks to handle steel, amongst other duties.
- Working on the back end of processing lines, e.g. Slitters
- Banding up of processed steel
- Using manual and air banders
- Driving counterbalance forklift trucks
This role is working three 12-hour days per week; 6:00am - 6:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 36 hours per week across three days. The pay rate is starting at £12.71 per hour on days. Temporary to begin with - 2 weeks with a view to extending.
