A Steel Operative / Mill Hand / Overhead Crane Operator is required for a large internationally trading steel processing company based in the West Bromwich area of the West Midlands on a temp to perm basis.
The experience required and the duties for the steel operative role will include:
- Working on the rolling mills
- Handling steel tubes, bars and billets
- Operating overhead cranes to move steel
- Loading and unloading machinery
- Banding, strapping and general material handling of steel stock
For this position you will need an in-date overhead crane licence. You will be working on days - 6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Paying - £13.50 per hour. Temp to perm.
