As part of its continued expansion, an industry-leading manufacturing company known for its innovation and expertise in precision machining, tooling, and moulding is looking to recruit a time-served Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join its established team.
Up to £42,000 DOE, pension and life assurance, 25+8 days holiday, 0730-1600 Mon-Fri.
This role covers all aspects of toolmaking - including CNC programming, machining, surface grinding, spark eroding, and bench work - and is ideal for someone seeking greater responsibility beyond traditional machining, benching, and toolmaking tasks.
In the role of Toolmaker, your duties will include:
- Manufacture new tooling as well as jigs and fixtures.
- Carry out tool repair and modification.
- Maintain tooling documentation.
- Using CAD data to program CNC machines.
- Assembly and bench work.
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will:
- Have a solid understanding of injection mould tool manufacturing.
- Be able to read complex engineering drawings.
- Be competent in the use of CAM software.
- Have experience of CNC programming.
- Possess a solid understanding of toolroom equipment, able to manufacture new tooling, jigs and fixtures as well as repairs/modifications.
