A CMM Programmer opportunity has become available within a growing precision engineering business supplying complex components to customers across aerospace, automotive, motorsport, defence and other highly regulated industries. Due to continued investment and increasing customer demand, the company is looking to strengthen its quality team with the addition of an experienced CMM Programmer. The company is also keen to hear from Quality Inspectors with CMM experience who are looking to develop their programming skills and progress into a dedicated CMM Programmer position.
Responsibilities include:
- Programming and operating CMM equipment to inspect precision-engineered components.
- Conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections in line with customer requirements.
- Using micrometers, verniers, contour measurement and other inspection equipment.
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CMM Programmer, CMM Inspector, CMM Operator, Quality Inspector or similar.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and inspection requirements.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Good understanding of measurement evaluation techniques and inspection reporting.
- Previous experience within precision engineering / machining environments.
