The Role
- This is a hands-on position where you'll be involved across the full machining process, not just stood loading parts.
- Programming, setting and operating 5-axis milling machines.
- Working from detailed engineering drawings and CAD data.
- Producing complex components to tight tolerances.
- Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets spec.
- Carrying out finishing work where required.
- Identifying and resolving issues on the shop floor.
- Keeping machines in good condition and running efficiently.
- Supporting less experienced team members where needed.
You'll be trusted to manage your own work and contribute to maintaining high standards across the shop.
