Job Description
A Site Fitter / Installer / Snagger is required to join a large manufacturing & engineering company based in Cradley Heath. They specialise in structural steel projects, including balustrades, staircases and similar items.
This Site Fitter position is a great opportunity to join a well-established company, for the long term. You will be working on site at various locations, responsible for fitting and then inspecting structural steel work, balustrades, staircases, etc.
The duties of this role include;
- The installation of steel fabrications on site, mainly at shopping centres etc.
- Installing balustrades, fitting ladders, staircases etc.
- Snagging / inspecting for faults
- Any other site duties as and when required
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have –
- Similar experience to the above
- A valid CSCS Card
- An IPAF licence to use the scissor lift
- A driving licence (beneficial, dependent on experience)
This SiteFitter role will be working straight days:
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 3:30pm, or when work is finished (flexibility required)
- The pay rate for this role is £15.30 per hour
- Paid from the time you're picked up and for hours worked on site
- Temp to perm
