A well-established and highly respected engineering technology business is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its growing UK team. This role is primarily focused on supporting customers on-site with the installation, maintenance and repair of CNC machinery. You will carry out hands-on fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems, resolving complex breakdowns and ensuring equipment operates at optimal performance.
The Role
- Installation and commissioning of CNC machinery
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repair
- Planned preventative maintenance and servicing
- PLC diagnostics and system troubleshooting
- On-site customer training and operational guidance
- Producing clear, professional service reports
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working on CNC machinery
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability
- Field service engineering background
- Ability to work independently and travel alone
