Due to continued growth, a leading manufacturer of plastic products is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Setter / Technician to join their expanding team. This is a key role, focused on maintaining production output while consistently delivering high-quality standards. The business has enjoyed year-on-year growth and has recently invested in state-of-the-art machinery alongside a site expansion, making this an exciting time to join.

Salary: Up to £37,000 | Monday to Friday

As an Injection Moulding Setter / Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out tool changes, as well as material and colour changes
  • Setting machine conditions to optimise performance
  • Ensuring all robotics and ancillary equipment are fully operational
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and waste reduction
  • Troubleshooting moulding processes and implementing corrective actions, with documentation where required

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or Technician
  • Be confident with condition setting and knowledgeable across a range of materials
  • Have hands-on experience troubleshooting moulding issues
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement, with a desire to help drive the business forward
