As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and commissioning advanced industrial equipment at customer sites across the Midlands and North of England. You'll work autonomously across a regional patch, ensuring equipment performance, minimising downtime, and delivering exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:- Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of industrial machinery
- Carry out routine servicing, calibration, and component replacement
- Perform strip-downs and machine rebuilds where required
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams
- Provide technical support and guidance directly to customers
- Manage your own schedule and travel arrangements effectively
- Complete administration and reporting (1 day per week in the office)
- Support larger projects alongside colleagues when required
