Leicester

£45,000 + Profit Share + Pension + 33 Days Holiday

Monday-Friday Rotating Shifts (06:00-14:00 / 12:00-20:00)

Are you an electrically qualified Maintenance Technician or Electrical Fitter looking to join a stable manufacturing business that genuinely invests in its people and equipment? This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a varied role covering both planned and reactive maintenance while working as part of a close-knit engineering team.

The business operates modern manufacturing equipment, conveyor systems, sensors, and automated machinery, offering plenty of variety and opportunities to broaden your technical skills.

The Role

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production equipment and site services
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure maximum equipment availability
  • Repair and replace components including motors, sensors, conveyors, pneumatics and associated machinery
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing downtime and improving reliability

The Candidate

We are interested in speaking with candidates from manufacturing, production, industrial, process, packaging, food, automotive, FMCG, recycling, or similar engineering environments. You should have:

  • An electrical engineering qualification
  • Experience carrying out maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Electrical fault-finding experience
  • Good mechanical maintenance skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance

The Package

  • Salary circa £45,000
  • 33 days holiday
