They are now hiring a Field Service Engineer supporting all major industries, helping customers achieve greater precision, efficiency, and productivity. Reporting to the UK Service Manager, this is a national position supporting customers with installation, maintenance, and technical service on their high-performance machinery.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools both electrically and mechanically.
  • Install, commission, and formally hand over new CNC equipment at customer sites.
  • Deliver operator training covering machine use and routine maintenance.
  • Provide ongoing after-sales, technical, and application support to customers.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive breakdown support.
  • Feedback on technical findings and service insights to internal departments and the factory.
  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to ensure high service standards.

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience working as a Field Service Engineer.
  • Electrical and electronic systems.
  • Mechanical engineering principles.
  • HND qualification or equivalent time-served engineering background.
  • Previous experience within machine tools or metal-forming equipment environments.

Salary up to £40,000 (with allowances and overtime, the engineer will earn £50,000) ~ Company vehicle ~ 25 days annual leave plus.
