Our client is a successful and expanding manufacturing business seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations.

Leading a small team and reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and control of raw materials that support production activities across the site.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence warehouse standards, optimise space utilisation, implement best practices, and help shape the future warehouse operation as the company prepares for its next phase of development.

Working within an SME environment, you will be trusted to take ownership of the warehouse floor, drive operational improvements, and lead a committed team in a business where your ideas and contributions will be recognised.

Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of warehouse operatives, ensuring high levels of performance, engagement, and safety.

Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and movement of materials.

Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management processes.

Ensure the timely supply of raw materials to production operations.

Implement and improve warehouse procedures, systems, and working practices.

Maximise warehouse space utilisation and improve operational efficiency.

Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and effectively when required.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support warehouse planning for the future site relocation.

The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, or similar leadership role.

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.

Experience within a manufacturing, production, recycling, or distribution environment.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity within a dynamic SME setting.

Ability to drive change, improve processes, and lead by example.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate a team.
