A Quality Manager opportunity has become available with an established manufacturing business investing in its people, machinery and manufacturing capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of quality processes, drive continuous improvement and help develop quality, health & safety and compliance standards across the business. Whether you're an experienced Quality Engineer with HSE exposure or an established QHSE professional looking for your next step, this could be an excellent opportunity to take on a broader role with greater responsibility.

Quality Manager responsibilities include:

  • Manage and continually improve the Quality Management System and associated processes.
  • Lead customer complaints, non-conformances and structured 8D investigations.
  • Support Health & Safety activities including risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Drive scrap and rework reduction alongside wider continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain quality documentation, procedures, work instructions and inspection standards.
  • Lead internal audits and support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.

Quality Manager desirable skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as a Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer or QHSE professional.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ideally within ISO 9001 manufacturing.
  • Experience leading 8D investigations and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and supporting quality compliance activities.
  • Exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills across production, engineering and management teams.
