Job Description

A leading manufacturer of eco-friendly products that support environmental initiatives worldwide is entering an exciting phase of growth and innovation. They are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to play a key role in the development and expansion of their moulding department.Up to £37,500 | Days | Monday - FridayAs the business continues to expand its injection moulding capability, you will take responsibility for organising, developing and supporting the moulding department. With significant investment being made across the business, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a growing organisation and play a pivotal role in shaping its moulding operations.As an Injection Moulding Setter, your duties will include:Setting injection moulding machines, carrying out tool changes and establishing processing conditions.Establishing setting parameters for new products and supporting tool trials.Organising and prioritising workloads within the mouldshop.Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across production.Driving continuous improvement by optimising processes, reducing cycle times, minimising scrap and improving OEE.Operating machinery and carrying out quality inspection checks.To be successful in the Injection Moulding Setter role, you will:Have extensive experience of plastic injection moulding processes, machinery, tooling and materials.Possess a strong understanding of moulding defects and process faults, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.Be proactive, hands-on and willing to support the wider team wherever required.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer at an exciting stage of its growth.
