A Health & Safety Advisor job opportunity has just become available within a business that has supplied revolutionary technology to multiple industries for over 40 years.
During a significant period of growth, this award-winning organisation is expanding its teams, including additional headcount within the Health, Safety & Environmental function.
The successful advisor will earn a salary circa £40,000+ alongside flexible working hours and a midday finish on Fridays.
There is also a clear opportunity for the successful individual to develop and progress into a Health & Safety Manager position as the business continues to grow.
Health & Safety Advisor duties include - Maintain HSE policies in line with UK legislation and company standards.
Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments across site operations.
Investigate incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Track environmental performance and produce reports for senior management.
Manage emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
Health & Safety Advisor desirable skills and experience - Experience in a similar role such as HSE Advisor, Health & Safety Advisor or Health & Safety Officer.
Strong environmental exposure within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Systems experience including ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001.
Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
