Due to continued growth, a well-established and specialist manufacturer supplying parts to major OEMs is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its engineering team.

Location: Motherwell area

Salary: £47,500 + 5% employer pension contribution

Shift: Day shift (no nights)

Working as part of a team of skilled Maintenance Engineers and alongside key stakeholders, you will play a vital role in ensuring plant reliability and performance. You will deliver effective planned and reactive maintenance, helping the site achieve its production and operational KPIs.

As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

  • Responding to and resolving machine breakdowns efficiently
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
  • Managing spares, ensuring critical parts are available and ordered as required
  • Conducting root cause analysis to eliminate recurring faults
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and costs

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

  • Proven experience maintaining production or manufacturing machinery
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills (electrical bias preferred)
  • Experience working with hydraulics and/or pneumatics
  • A time-served background and/or relevant engineering maintenance qualifications
