As the organisation continues to expand its UK technical team, they are now seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to support customers in and around Cambridge, maintain high standards of machine performance, and help drive industry-leading service delivery.

Service Engineer responsibilities:

  • Breakdown repairs and maintenance of CNC Machines, including multi-axis Mills and Lathes
  • Routine service and inspections, as well as fault-finding
  • Carrying out mechanical and minor electrical repairs to ball screws, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and motors
  • Machine levelling and alignments
  • Installation and commissioning of machinery on site
  • Ordering of parts from the office, replacing and retrofitting
  • Providing end-user training and customer support both remotely and on-site

Service Engineer requirements:

  • Confidence with either electrical or mechanical breakdowns of machinery
  • Experience of working with either Siemens or FANUC controls
  • Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
  • Willingness to travel and be prepared to stay overnight when required

Service Engineer package and benefits:

  • £60,000 OTE
