A thriving precision engineering business is experiencing sustained growth and we're on the lookout for a talented Electrical Fitter to join their dynamic manufacturing team. They pride themselves on fostering a positive work culture that results in low staff turnover and offers flexible day shift hours. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is equipped with the latest machinery, tools, and equipment, designed to make the life of an engineer both efficient and enjoyable.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our production operations, ensuring all targets are met efficiently and to the highest standard. Some of the benefits on offer include a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, overtime during the week, 34 days holiday including bank holidays, a great pension and sick pay scheme too.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Fitter include:
- Carrying out electrical installations working from technical drawings
- Supporting with the building and testing of electro-mechanical machinery
- Work closely with the Production team to meet project deadlines
- Assist with mechanical assembly of machinery
To be successful in the role of Electrical Fitter, we're looking for the following:
- Hold a recognised electrical or electro-mechanical qualification
- Have good mechanical assembly skills
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Working hours for the Electrical Fitter are 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday, with some potential flex around start and finishing times to avoid rush hour traffic.
