A Design Engineer position has become available within an award-winning business that supplies revolutionary technologies worldwide.
You'll be responsible for the ongoing design of intricate jigs, fixtures, and tooling, while working closely with production engineering staff to resolve manufacturing concerns.

Design Engineer Duties include -
Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling in Solid Works, from simple setups to complex automated systems.
Develop prototypes (including 3D printed) and support high-volume production tooling.
Create auxiliary tooling for manufacturing and assembly.
Manage the full design process from concept to SOP.
Provide technical support and resolve tooling, quality, and safety issues.
Design Engineer desirable Skills and Experience -
Proficiency in Solid Works (parametric modelling, assemblies, 2D drawings).
Relevant engineering education and/or training.
