A cutting-edge tooling facility renowned for its precision contract machining and toolmaking services is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. With significant ongoing investment, a full order book, and an excellent reputation, this business continues to go from strength to strength – and now you can be part of that journey. ***A salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience, Day shift Monday-Friday + Bonus + Overtime + Health Cash Plan + Death In Service Benefit + additional training and development *** As a CNC Machinist, you\’ll be an integral part of the Toolroom team – programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components to exacting standards. You\’ll play a key role in meeting customer requirements and delivering high-quality output. As a CNC Machinist, your duties will include: Producing precision components from drawings using CNC machines. Program, set and operate CNC machines. Clean and maintain CNC machinery and all associated equipment and working area. Liaising with the Toolroom Manager to plan and prioritise the workload around the company\’s needs and requirements. For the role of CNC Machinist, we\’d love to hear from Candidates that have: A mechanical engineering qualification, CNC apprenticeship or equivalent. Experience in CNC machining (Hurco). Experience in offline programming. Exposure to programming software. Exposure to CAD and 3D modelling (Visi, NCG Cam, Machining Strategist) would be advantageous. An ability to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.
