A Quality Inspector opportunity has become available with a well-established manufacturing business. Supplying high-quality products to a diverse customer base, the company is seeking an additional Quality Inspector to support continued production demands and maintain the highest standards of product quality. This is a permanent day shift position working Monday to Thursday, offering an excellent work-life balance, long-term stability, career progression and the opportunity to contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Quality Inspector responsibilities include:
- Carrying out in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Identifying, reporting, and documenting defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Using measuring equipment, gauges and inspection tools to verify product conformity.
- Supporting investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities to reduce defects and improve quality performance.
Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience:
- Previous experience working within a similar role (Manufacturing environment).
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience using inspection equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
