From day one, you'll receive one to one training, a competitive hourly rate, premium overtime for all hours worked, including travel, a company vehicle, and clear opportunities for progression. Overview of this position:

  • Covering the West London area, you'll buddy up with engineers on-site, replacing parts and helping to keep customer fleets moving with minimal disruption.

Service Engineer responsibilities include:

  • Buddy up with an experienced service engineer and travel to clients.
  • Swap out service-ready components on electric vehicles as part of scheduled maintenance.
  • Carry out changeovers on air conditioning, HVAC, refrigeration, and heating/cooling systems.
  • Utilise a handheld PDA system for logging work, tracking tasks, and team communication.

Service Engineer desirable skills and education:

  • Experience in a similar role - MOT tester, vehicle technician, mechanic, automotive technician.
  • Time served, or Mechanical / Electrical educated (IMI, FGAS, BTEC, HNC, or degree desirable).
  • Basic hands-on experience with mechanical assembly (study, home projects, or work-based).
  • Ability to follow technical drawings, instructions, and assembly procedures.
  • Full UK driving license (max 6 points).
