Join our Grays Team as a Bulk Analyst (P401 Lab Analyst). 5, Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:30. Asbestos Consultants Europe Ltd (ACE) is one of the UK's leading asbestos consultancies. We provide specialist advice and services for all asbestos-related problems to both the public and private sectors.
The Bulk Analyst will be proficient in all aspects of bulk sample analysis, ensuring accurate and reliable results. Reporting to both the Laboratory Supervisor and Operations Manager, they will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to high-quality asbestos analysis.
- Book in and prepare samples received from site, undertaking sample analysis and reporting analytical findings.
- Undertake routine quality checks assigned by the Lab Supervisor.
- Participate in the internal QC programme.
- Apply a professional approach and act in accordance with the requirements of the Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policy statements and their associated procedures.

Minimum qualifications held will include the following British Occupational Hygiene Society Proficiency Modules:
- P401 Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples (PLM) or equivalent.
- P402 Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings - Optional.
- P403 Asbestos Fibre Counting (PCM) – Optional.
