As a Business Banking Specialist in our Small Business Centre, you will be part of a phone‑based team responsible for handling inbound customer enquiries and assisting with a range of requests to help them meet their financial goals. This will include preparing credit submissions for lending and understanding and identifying our customers' financial requirements. Key to your role will be providing simple solutions for our customers' businesses across a range of banking products and services and proactively looking for ways where we can improve their banking relationship with us. We have permanent positions available and are open to applications to be based at any ASB Regional Centre in the South Island.
First and foremost, we are looking for an experienced banker who is a team‑player, proactive, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. A minimum of 2 years lending experience is a requirement of the role. Success in this role will be determined by your ability to effectively prioritise your time while working in a fast‑paced environment. You need to be someone who naturally builds and maintains relationships with both internal and external customers with a drive & dedication to work hard for great customer outcomes.
