We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical or Electro-mechanical Engineer for an Engineering Manager opportunity based in Fareham, Hampshire. This is a full-time, office-based role, offering leadership over a small team of technical staff dedicated to supporting the manufacture and development of innovative products within niche specialised fields. As a key figure in the team, you will lead, mentor, and develop engineering personnel, oversee design and technical documentation, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and drive continuous improvements in product quality and sustainability. The role combines team management, process optimisation, and strategic planning, aiming to ensure high standards of technical excellence and operational efficiency. Formal qualification in an electrical or electro-mechanical discipline (degree or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years proven experience in engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, design principles, and standards such as BS, EN, Machinery Directive, and CE regulations. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor) and interpretation of 2D engineering drawings. Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills. Valid driving licence is required.
