The predicted salary is between 14 - 15 Β£ per hour.
We are currently recruiting for experienced horticultural driver operatives to carry out seasonal works on behalf of LB Hillingdon. This is not an immediate start, but will commence as the season changes (approx April 2026).
You will need to have a full UK driving licence (manual) with no more than 3 points. Driving licence checks will be completed on a regular basis. You will be driving a Hillingdon 3.5T vehicle which may be cage or flat bed.
You will need to have experience of using industrial:
- petrol strimmers
- petrol lawn mowers
- leaf blowers
You will be expected to wear appropriate PPE:
- Steel toe capped boots
- Hi-Viz vest (as a minimum)
- Appropriate trousers to protect your legs
You will be working in teams, and whilst you are the driver, you will be required to carry out the same work as the operatives. You need to have the ability to interact with the general public in a professional manner.
The hours of work change during the course of the season; however, the start time is always 07:00am. The pay rate for the first 12 weeks is Β£14.25 per hour. This increases to Β£15.24 per hour at the beginning of week 13.
