We are currently recruiting for a Recycle Operative to work at Harefield Recycle Centre, on behalf of LB Hillingdon.
You will need:
- to be physically fit and able to assist in the movement of heavy goods such as fridges, freezers and washing machines
- happy to work outside in all weathers
- the ability to provide first class customer service when interacting with the general public as well as trade customers and Hillingdon refuse crews
- to be willing to work on a rota basis which will include working weekends (2 weekends out of every 3)
- A keen eye for all things health and safety is imperative as you will be based on a site where heavy vehicles will be regularly working/moving about.
Working Hours change dependent on the season but usual start times are either 08:00am (summer season) or 08:30am (winter season).
Pay rate starts at £12.83 rising after 12 weeks to £15.24 per hour.
