We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established retail client for a highly organised and detail-oriented Inventory Controller. This role will be primarily based at their Kings Cross location, with responsibility for supporting stock management across additional stores in Oxford Street and Knightsbridge.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Inventory Systems: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with inventory management software
  • Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills; we need to interact with various departments
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate inventory tracking and reporting
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Initiative: Comfortable working independently
  • Customer Service Experience: Preferred but not essential; candidate will need to obtain approval to work in department stores, which is subject to successfully passing an assessment conducted by the relevant store team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular cycle counts
  • Handling deliveries and stock movements
  • Updating WMS systems and reports
  • Managing customer orders and returns
  • Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom
  • Finding customer orders and picking them up from locations in the stockroom, handing them to the sales associates

Hours: 40 hours per week + occasional overtime

Working Pattern: Flexible hours between 07:00 and 22:00, any 5 out of 7 days. Required to work on Saturday and Sunday.

Typical Shifts: 09:00-17:00 / 10:00-18:00 / 11:00-19:00 (rotating)

A £10 daily travel allowance will be provided.
