We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established retail client for a highly organised and detail-oriented Inventory Controller. This role will be primarily based at their Kings Cross location, with responsibility for supporting stock management across additional stores in Oxford Street and Knightsbridge.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Inventory Systems: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with inventory management software
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills: we need to interact with various departments
- Attention to Detail: Accurate inventory tracking and reporting
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve inventory discrepancies
- Initiative: Comfortable working independently
- Customer Service Experience: Preferred but not essential; candidate will need to obtain approval to work in department stores, which is subject to successfully passing an assessment conducted by the relevant store team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular cycle counts
- Handling deliveries and stock movements
- Updating WMS systems and reports
- Managing customer orders and returns
- Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom
- Finding customer orders and picking them up from locations in the stockroom, handing them to the sales associates
Hours: 40 hours per week + occasional overtime
Working Pattern: Flexible hours between 07:00 and 22:00, any 5 out of 7 days. Required to work on Saturday and Sunday.
Typical Shifts: 09:00-17:00 / 10:00-18:00 / 11:00-19:00 (rotating)
A £10 daily travel allowance will be provided.
