About The Role
Competitive salary and fantastic benefits package, including bonus scheme. This is a brand new role within the HR team, solely focusing on ER & People Policy. Reporting directly into the Head HR Operations & Compensation and Benefits, we’re looking for someone who will take full ownership of our policies and be the main point for ER activity across Asahi UK, including manufacturing sites. You’ll embed yourself into the organisation to understand our priorities from a commercial, operational and safety‑critical perspective, supporting business performance and mitigating risk.
Your main focus is to be the person behind every case, managing all matters, analysing cases across the organisation and recommending changes to prevent reoccurrence. You’ll build strong relationships with our managers, upskilling on how to handle disciplinary and grievances and supporting colleagues with complex people issues. With your strong knowledge of employment legislation, you’ll be able to guide the organisation through times of legislative change, updating HR and other impacted parties and developing policies in line with those changes. You will understand how to deliver the company voice through policy documents, making them aligned to our company values and goals. You will be able to scrutinise our current policies, update current policies as well as recommending new ones to the HR Leadership Team for consideration.
Please note that we can only consider applicants who would be able to travel to various sites, including Salisbury, Chiswick and Cornwall, with occasional overnight stays.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen on seeing candidates who have CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification, who has a strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR policy application. You’ll have demonstratable experience of managing ER cases through to resolution, as well as overseeing sensitive investigations. You’ll have proven experience in reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Ideally, you would have come from an FMCG background.
