Main purpose of the job
This role operates as a global strategic contributor, providing analytical depth, strategic synthesis and cross‑functional and cross-regional coordination to support global category and global brand portfolio strategy development. The role does not hold final decision authority and works under the direction of senior leadership roles accountable for strategy ownership and ExCom engagement.
Accountabilities and deliverables
- Category Development: Co‑develop the strategic foundation of the Global Brand category vision, within beer and beyond, contributing to the identification and quantification of sizeable growth spaces. Act as a bridge between Global Brands team and Local Marketing teams to help translate category strategies into tangible commercial plans. Contribute to the identification of priority growth segments and support the development of relevant guidelines and toolkits for market implementation (premium, easy drinking, flavoured, no alco). Support the evolution of the no‑alcohol category acceleration strategy, providing strategic analyses and inputs aligned with the Better Future targets.
- Global Brands Portfolio Strategy: Contribute to assessing the size of the opportunity for the global brand portfolio across geographies, building robust analyses to inform portfolio choices and priorities. Co‑develop the global portfolio strategy in close collaboration with the Head of Global Brands Portfolio and the Global Marketing Strategy team. Contribute to the delivery and continuous strengthening of the integrated brand stage building model, including development of clear guidelines on activation focus and indicative resource allocation principles. Provide strategic and analytical support to the integration of global pricing position and principles into brand portfolio strategy, helping inform topline and profit growth discussions.
- Global Brand Council & Global Growth Council secretariat management: Support the curation and delivery of Global Brand Council (GBC) and Global Marketing Council (GGC) annual calendar of events. The former brings together marketers from markets of key strategic importance to ASD and PNA for discussion to provide solutions to better enable realization of brand ambition. Work closely with Global Brand teams (Asahi Super Dry and Peroni Nastro Azzurro) and the AGH Global Marketing Strategy team to support the preparation of GBC and GGC Global events, including agenda build, strategic narratives and supporting analyses. Support the development of key deliverables and outputs of the Global Growth Council, contributing to the formulation of strategic insights, hypotheses and recommendation options for presentation to AGH ExCom under guidance of the Head of Global Brand Portfolio, Head of Global Brands and Head of Global Marketing.
Qualification criteria
- Master’s or University degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field
- 3+ years in portfolio/category/insights roles in FMCG environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data and insights into clear strategic implications and recommendations.
- Solid understanding of brand‑building and portfolio strategy fundamentals.
- International experience is a plus
- Proficiency in English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial and delivery‑focused mindset
- Experience working with multiple senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
