This role is key in the delivery of robust financial planning and analysis across Asahi UK, while working closely with the wider Finance team and Asahi Business Services to strengthen the reporting capability of the business to generate insights that enhance decision‑making and performance management.

A key area of responsibility is profitability reporting for the business and providing business partnering support to HR. As a Business Partner to the HR team, this role is responsible for cost control and driving efficiencies within the HR function as well as modelling paycost and headcount forecasts and providing insightful analysis of key drivers versus actual performance.

  • Drive high‑quality budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis providing clear insights that enhance decision‑making and performance management.
  • Driving continuous improvement of profitability reporting tools and processes (including SAP KE30/COPA).
  • Be a driving force in the timeliness and accuracy of the monthly rolling forecast, ensuring outputs are provided by the relevant functions and team members, variances are understood and risks and opportunities are captured.
  • Provide HR business partnering support, offering insight on headcount and paycost variances, challenging assumptions, and ensuring accurate paycost forecasting.
  • Track net working capital and drive cash improvements across the business.
  • Work closely with Asahi Business Services on continuous improvement of shared processes to drive efficiency.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • SAP ECC or S4/Hana required, experience with COPA desirable.
  • HFM preferable, experience of Power BI also a positive.
  • Experience of working in an FP&A or commercial/operational finance function.
  • Experience in FMCG or a fast‑paced environment is an advantage.
