Functional Overview
To deliver better, more creative and cost-effective solutions for our business, we are expanding our in-house agency team, to support the Global Asahi brands and local market activities. As part of this model, we need Social Media Manager, who can develop creatively exceptional social plans while ensuring we are delivering our brand objectives for the UK market including Global brand Peroni. Working with the team, to plan, scope and execute plans across all relevant social channels. You will be part of the Asahi In-House agency, working alongside Client service, creative, social and digital teams to deliver excellent marketing solutions for our brands and markets. Our primary focus in our first 2 years will be around excellence in digital and social. Delivering key social strategies and detailed plans. We have set an ambitious goal for the IHA, growing over the next 4 years and expanding our remit and capabilities. You will be helping with that growth, delivering solutions that can be utilized across our global brands and local markets.
As the Social Media Manager, you will be tasked with driving the social media strategy at both a portfolio and brand level working alongside a team of strategists and community managers. You will support our portfolio of brands by executing marketing strategies across all social platforms. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work and supporting the team. You have a passion for the consumer, using channels and content to connect with them in order to build and facilitate communities for brands. You have a strong experience building brands in social media, an ability to transpose a marketing plan into a social media strategy and an ability to influence key stakeholders. You have proven success in delivering to task and consistently meeting KPI’s.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Work collaboratively with other capability leads to deliver Owned and Earned social marketing plans that connect consumer and brand.
- Bring best-in-class digital thinking to the social team and build critical capability in social media platforms, formats, and management.
- Lead the creation, integration, and execution of our Social Strategies in partnerships with other teams including Media, Creative, and Client Services, in the team to bring those plans to life through social media channels.
- Work closely with external partners and agencies to deliver integrated brand campaign responses.
- Be the gatekeeper of all things social, you know the products, formats, and best practice, and you identify key opportunities to innovate.
- Oversee all social media recommendations to deliver on brand objectives, and manage social media accounts including content execution.
- Develop clear measurement frameworks and KPIs for brands and work with Planners and Execution team on optimisation to drive uplift in all digital metrics.
- Manage in-house social media execution and partner management whilst supporting Social Planners with portfolio media strategy.
- Manage external relationships with partners, work with media team to negotiate and secure best in class trading positions and JBPs.
- Identify opportunities to build and grow the capability offering and skillsets within the team.
- Ensure these offerings deliver against business objectives e.g. ROI, Conversion, and Awareness.
- Play a key role in representing the team at internal and external brand meetings including briefings and responses.
- Ensure all relevant information is cascaded to team and any actions are integrated into our processes.
- Play a consulting role for brands to help solve social and marketing problems.
What You Bring To The Table
At least 5+ years working in social / digital. Experience working in creative agencies or in-house agencies. Experience working with global and local markets. FMCG experience advantageous.
