ASA Recruitment is proud to be supporting our client in the search for compassionate and committed Support Workers to join a friendly team assisting adults with learning disabilities and additional physical needs in homely, shared properties in Crieff.
About the Role:
You\’ll be working closely with individuals to promote independence and enhance quality of life in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
Providing personal care, including assistance with toileting and showering
Administering medication
Communicating effectively and respectfully
Offering emotional, behavioural, and financial guidance (e.g., budgeting)
Supporting access to local services, community activities, and outings
Promoting safe and positive communal living
Keeping accurate records and contributing to ongoing service improvement
Shift Patterns:
Rotational shifts including early, back, night shifts, and sleepovers
24/7 service operating 365 days a year
What We\’re Looking For:
Previous experience in care or support settings
Genuine interest in supporting others to live their best lives
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to undergo relevant training and register with the SSSC
Understanding of SSSC Codes of Practice and client policies
Epilepsy and medication training beneficial
A driver is preferred but not essential
