Kirkcaldy & Glenrothes – Senior Carer – Lead and Inspire
If you\’re an experienced Carer looking to take on a leadership role, we have great opportunities for you as a Senior Carer in Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes. You\’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while supporting, mentoring, and developing a dedicated team of carers. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to creating a positive, nurturing environment for residents.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

  1. Supervising the daily care routines, ensuring residents receive high standards of care
  2. Administering medication and keeping accurate, up-to-date records
  3. Reviewing and updating care plans to reflect individual resident needs
  4. Leading a team of carers, offering guidance, support, and training
  5. Liaising with healthcare professionals and families to ensure continuity of care
  6. Promoting teamwork and ensuring that all regulatory standards are met

Key Qualities We Look For:

  1. SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  2. Experience in supervising or mentoring a team in a care setting
  3. Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  4. Passionate about delivering excellent care and building strong relationships with residents and families
  5. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvement

Pay Rates:

  1. Weekdays: £12.95 – £14.05 per hour
  2. Saturdays and Sundays: £13.95 – £14.70 per hour

Shift Pattern:
08:00 – 20:00
