Kitchen Porter – Hotels & Restaurants
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: From £12.60 per hour
We are seeking reliable Kitchen Porters to join our team in Edinburgh’s busy hotel and restaurant kitchens. This vital role ensures high standards of cleanliness and helps maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with basic food preparation when required
- Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and hygienic
- Handle waste disposal safely and efficiently
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation
- Clean floors, walls, and work surfaces thoroughly
- Monitor supplies and report shortages
- Assist with basic kitchen equipment maintenance
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
