ASA Recruitment is pleased to be working on behalf of a highly regarded public sector organisation to offer excellent, ongoing opportunities for experienced Refuse Drivers based in Glasgow. We currently have positions available across various cleansing depots throughout the city. This is a temporary ongoing role operating on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, offering stability and consistency for successful candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough daily vehicle safety checks in line with compliance standards.
- Adhering strictly to road safety regulations at all times.
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation throughout shifts.
Essential Criteria:
- A valid, clean Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- A valid Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience working in refuse collection or within a local authority contract is advantageous but not essential.
