Are you ready to take the lead in transforming budget monitoring and forecasting at a forward-thinking public agency? We're looking for a sharp, proactive Finance Business Partner to join us on an initial 8-month contract - someone who thrives on partnering with teams, shaping financial strategy, and driving impactful decisions.
Based in Edinburgh with hybrid flexibility, you'll work closely with budget holders to develop forecasts, prepare insightful reports, and perform variance analysis. You'll also model future funding scenarios and play a key role in finance-led projects such as policy development, audit readiness, and business case preparation.
What You'll Bring:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA - or qualified by experience).
- Experience delivering budgets, managing forecasting cycles, and owning month-end reporting.
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- A record of improving financial reporting and forecasting processes.
