Field & Laboratory Trials Support Assistant
Location: Edinburgh outskirts
Working Pattern: Full-time (35 hours/week) – Onsite role

ASA’s client is looking for a Field & Laboratory Trials Support Assistant to join their Seeds, Varieties & Trial Support branch located on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
As a key member of the team, you'll support field and laboratory trial work with a focus on agricultural and vegetable plants such as peas and grass.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with maintenance and general care of field trials
· Support the raising and harvesting of plant material
· Record detailed data and measurements from trials
· Help assess plots and accurately describe varietal characteristics
· Work collaboratively with the wider team across lab, glasshouse, and field settings
Who We’re Looking For
· No formal qualifications required
· A practical, hands-on approach with an eye for detail
· Adaptable and willing to meet seasonal demands
· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
· Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
