Are you passionate about preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and making a positive impact every day? We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Catering Professional to join our clients team.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of hot and cold meals for a diverse customer base, including breakfast, lunch, and evening meals when required. This is a shift-based role, with working hours between 6:00am and 7:00pm, and occasional evening or weekend work as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, team-focused environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals to meet a variety of dietary needs
- Monitor service delivery at meal times to ensure standards and procedures are consistently maintained
- Ensure full compliance with current legislative requirements and Food Safety Scotland guidelines
- Complete all routine administration and communications, including weekly and food safety checks
- Monitor food waste and manage stock levels, advising when replenishment is required
- Assist with menu planning and stock ordering to meet the needs of all college users
