A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Video Content Manager to join their visual content team on a 12-month contract, contributing to high-impact communications projects that support strategic priorities.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a dynamic content team producing compelling visual material for use across digital and social channels. The role focuses on delivering high-quality video and photography assets that align with public engagement goals and policy communications.
- Capture and edit professional video and still content for social media and digital platforms
- Collaborate with news and marketing teams to produce accurate and engaging visual assets
- Plan and coordinate shoots, including logistics and scheduling
- Train colleagues on basic video editing tools and techniques
- Maintain quality, accessibility, and brand consistency across all outputs
- Organise and archive content for re-use and repurposing
- Act as a point of contact for video-related queries and support
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in video production and photography using modern camera tech
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud – particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
- Strong portfolio of content created for social platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
- Knowledge of accessibility standards in video content
- Full, clean UK driving licence
