Your Role
- Deliver person centred care in line with individual care plans, promoting dignity, privacy and respect at all times.
- Support residents with personal care, nutrition, hydration and daily living activities, following recognised best practice guidance.
- Carry out safe moving and handling in accordance with current legislation, training, and risk assessments, using appropriate equipment correctly.
- Promote independence, choice and empowerment, supporting residents to maintain autonomy and quality of life.
- Recognise, document and appropriately escalate changes in residents' physical, emotional or behavioural wellbeing.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely care records, ensuring documentation meets regulatory and organisational standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and the wider care team to ensure high quality care.
- Uphold safeguarding principles, infection prevention measures, and duty of care responsibilities at all times.
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within a UK care home or adult social care setting.
- Strong understanding of person centred care, moving and handling, safeguarding and professional standards.
- A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A current PVG (or willingness to apply).
- A genuine passion for delivering high quality care that respects dignity and enhances wellbeing.
- An up to date CV covering at least the last 10 years.
