Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Medication trained workers to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in domiciliary care and a strong background in administering medication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality care and support to older adults in their homes.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients\’ health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker with medication administration.
  • Hold a clean driving license.
  • SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working with older adults in Scotland.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
