We’re recruiting for a Class 2 Driver (LGV2) on behalf of our client – a role that’s vital to delivering high standards of cleanliness and waste management across Fort William
Your Role Will Include:
Operating Refuse Collection Vehicles and Mechanically Driven Street Sweepers
Assisting with refuse and recycling collection duties
Supporting street scene management and cleanliness
Working at Household Waste Recycling Centres, Landfill Sites, or Transfer Stations
Handling bulky uplifts, fly tipping removal, and animal carcass collection
Delivering and uplifting waste and recycling bins
Carrying out basic record keeping and admin tasks
Working independently or as part of a team, often in public-facing situations
What You’ll Need:
HGV 2 driving license
A strong work ethic and commitment to high standards
Experience operating waste or street cleaning vehicles (preferred)
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
Good physical fitness for manual tasks
A flexible attitude – occasional overtime may be required
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
